Course Overview

If you want your sports leaders to deliver high-impact sports and physical activity in your school, then the Reach for the Stars sports leader award is the perfect choice for you.

Every school leader knows static playgrounds do not enhance the physical play opportunity for your school and your pupils. It’s a missed opportunity to get children active, mentally ready for class, social interaction and learning through play.

Many primary schools have Sports Leaders but the reality is they are often short of support, run out of ideas, get bored or just don’t know what to do.

The Reach for the Stars is a unique, comprehensive online training program aimed at helping your Sports Leaders learn and develop the skills and confidence to provide

        • Varied, fun and engaging breaktime physical activities
        • Whole school events like competitions and sports events
        • Structured play for younger pupils
        • Introduce different sports in the school
        • Support your PE curriculum
        • Improve playground behaviour
        • Learn life-skills and personal development
