How Much Is The Trial?

What age is this program for?

Our recommended ages for our online speakers club is minimum of 8 years old and maximum of 18 years old

What can I expect on the trial?

The trial class is just like any other class we run so it gives you an excellent, real-life experience of our Online Speakers Club. It's the perfect way to see if this club is a good fit for your child and meets your expectations

How many students per class?

We want every young person to have the opportunity to speak at every class. That's why our classes will have no more than 10 students. This ensures a high quality learning experience for everyone.

I've seen overseas companies providing Speakers Clubs. Is this the same?

Young Leaders Academy is a UK company based in Cheshire. We employ native English speaking tutors and trainers as we know this is important for our clients.

How are your tutors vetted?

All our tutors and trainers undergo an Enhanced DBS check as a minimum. They also have up-to-date Safeguarding training. Every tutor is a highly experienced professional and has vast knowledge of working with children

How often do the Speakers Clubs run?

Once booked on you will be allocated a suitable weekly slot. The club runs for 8 weeks and your child will complete the program in this time.

Each class is 45 minutes to 1 hour long.

First Speech Badge

Introduction To Public Speaking

Module 1 is a gentle introduction in to why learning this life-skill is important and how to get the best out of this program

Just Standing Up Badge

Overcoming Fear

In Module 2 each student is given skills to overcome any fear or anxiety they may have and we introduce fun speaking games

One Minute Word Challenge Badge

Word Challenges

In Module 3 we expand our speaking games and also introduce role play, encouraging each student to find their voice

3 Ps Badge

Planning & Preparing

Module 4 is all about how to construct a great speech. Students will now be at level where they can comfortably speak for 1-2 minutes

In Module 5 we will look at body language, pitch pace and....pause. Students are now refining their speaking skills and advancing with confidence
