Once you’ve completed the registration form a member of the Young Leaders Academy team will be in touch to complete the process and organise your On Boarding & Teacher Training.
A 'learner' is a student that takes up a license on our online portal. Teachers and staff do not take up licenses so you do not have to figure them in to your final number of learners. Learners are usually non-transferrable but we can be flexible due to extenuating circumstances.Â
It's important that every partner school is recognised for their dedication to student leadership. There are four levels of Leadership Centre status and it's based on the number of students you put through an Award.
On achieving certain criteria your school has the opportunity to work towards the Platinum Award - our highest award.
Each course contains online video training, a management tool so you can run reports, administer students and reset passwords. Teachers also get a fulle resource pack containing lesson plans, power point presentations, print offs, rubrics and much more.
Every organisation gets staff training included at the start of the program and continued support throughout Award delivery. We're here to support you when you need us!
This depends on the time dedicated to each module but on average an 8 module Award like 'Pitch Perfect' takes between 10-12 weeks for students to complete. Please see individual Award pages for more details.
Most schools invest in 60-100 learners/licenses per year to start off with and have 20 students per cohort per Award.
For example if a school chooses to take all 4 Awards they may put in a cohort of 20 students for each Award.
We recommend 20 students per cohort. We have found this to be the ideal number to ensure quality, delivery and impact.
There is a minimum order of 10 learners. Â
Yes. As an example, if you invested in 100 learners / licenses you can portion any number of learners to any Award.
That means you could have 30 students doing Pitch Perfect, 30 students doing Reach for the Stars, and 40 students doing The Tenner Challenge - all in the same term / year.Â
