FAQ's

Who is a learner?

A 'learner' is a student that takes up a license on our online portal. Teachers and staff do not take up licenses so you do not have to figure them in to your final number of learners. Learners are usually non-transferrable but we can be flexible due to extenuating circumstances.

What is Leadership Centre status?

It's important that every partner school is recognised for their dedication to student leadership. There are four levels of Leadership Centre status and it's based on the number of students you put through an Award.

On achieving certain criteria your school has the opportunity to work towards the Platinum Award - our highest award.

What teacher resources are included?

Each course contains online video training, a management tool so you can run reports, administer students and reset passwords. Teachers also get a fulle resource pack containing lesson plans, power point presentations, print offs, rubrics and much more.

Every organisation gets staff training included at the start of the program and continued support throughout Award delivery. We're here to support you when you need us!

How long does an Award take?

This depends on the time dedicated to each module but on average an 8 module Award like 'Pitch Perfect' takes between 10-12 weeks for students to complete. Please see individual Award pages for more details.

What's the recommended number of students per cohort?

Most schools invest in 60-100 learners/licenses per year to start off with and have 20 students per cohort per Award.

For example if a school chooses to take all 4 Awards they may put in a cohort of 20 students for each Award.

We recommend 20 students per cohort. We have found this to be the ideal number to ensure quality, delivery and impact.

There is a minimum order of 10 learners.

Can you combine Awards?

Yes. As an example, if you invested in 100 learners / licenses you can portion any number of learners to any Award.

That means you could have 30 students doing Pitch Perfect, 30 students doing Reach for the Stars, and 40 students doing The Tenner Challenge - all in the same term / year.

Are your Awards available worldwide?

Yes. One of the key features of our Online Learning Centre is it can be accessed from anywhere in the world. That means international schools can access the same quality of Awards as our UK schools and organisations.

All Teacher training is provided online via zoom / teams.

Can a school book a demo of the Award?

Yes, we welcome demo's a recommended first step to find out more about the Awards and how they are run. Please book a  demo here

How secure is the online Learning Centre?

Each school has it's own secure login and each student has his/her own login credentials. Our servers are based in the UK and use the highest level of encryption to protect every user in the best possible way. No user details are shared outside of your organisation.

We are GDPR compliant and treat your information with the utmost privacy and respect.

Can you customise Awards?

We can offer local customization on our Awards including adding language subtitles, language dubbing, local presenters and so forth. Please email us with your specific instructions so we can provide you a quote.

Are the Awards just for Primary Schools?

No. Most courses are used at both Primary and Secondary level.

Our workshops and live programs can be tailored to older age groups.

If you require leadership programs for other ages please book a meeting here to discuss your requirements or call us on +44 (0)800 756 9835.

"These skills impact their life chances"

School Student Leadership, Emma Perkins
Emma Perkins Deputy Head Teacher, St Barnabas Primary School, UK

“The children are able to develop their confidence, self esteem, communication, problem solving skills, creativity skills, teamwork skills and conflict resolution skills…. These skills in turn impact their life chances….as jobs of the future are looking for good communicators, team players, problem solvers and people who can think outside the box.”
